Dr. Jennifer Galdon

(nee: Rodych)

Jennifer completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Calgary in 2006 and graduated from Medical School at the University of Alberta in 2011.  She completed her Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons fellowship in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Alberta from 2011-2016.

Before moving to Edmonton, Jennifer enjoyed a busy general OB/GYN practice in the South Zone of Alberta from 2016-2020, where she worked hard to improve women’s birth experiences and health through a variety of hospital and community initiatives.

Jennifer is passionate about all aspects of women’s health and enjoys working with diverse patient populations, and new immigrant and refugee families. 

Her interests are spending time with family,  gardening, and caring for all of the animals on her farm.  

Like all doctors at the South Edmonton Women’s Care Clinic, she is committed to providing a comprehensive approach to women’s care.  She provides obstetric and gynecologic surgical care at the Grey Nun’s Hospital.

Main Practice Focus:


  • Low Risk Pregnancy
  • High Risk Pregnancies
  • Pregnancies complicated by maternal medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, auto-immune conditions, or other chronic medical conditions
  • Twins
  • Women with prior c-section wishing to have a vaginal birth
  • Maternal request c-section consults
  • Delayed cord clamping, skin to skin and early breastfeeding with baby following all deliveries/c-sections whenever possible
  • Obstetrical referrals/consults of patients living in peripheral sites surrounding Edmonton


Please note that gynecology appointments require a referral from a physician, midwife, physical therapist or nurse practitioner.
