Dr. Leeor Eliyahu
Family Physicion Who Specializes in Women's Health
Dr. Eliyahu was born in Israel and raised in Edmonton. She began her university career at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, but later returned to Edmonton where she completed her undergraduate, medical school and family medicine residency training at the University of Alberta. Dr. Eliyahu enjoys working in various settings within family medicine including a special interest in women’s health. She also enjoys teaching medical students in both classroom and clinical settings. Outside of work, she loves being a mama to twin girls, running, watching hockey, traveling within our beautiful country and exploring new ones and, of course, eating her husband’s delicious cooking.

- Medical treatment for Menorrhagia
- IUCD Insertions and Removal (will see without referral)
- Nexplanon Implants and Removals
- Contraception Consultations
- PAP tests
- Office endometrial biopsy procedure
Please note that gynecology appointments require a referral from a physician, midwife, physical therapist or nurse practitioner. Dr. Eliyahu will see patients without a referral for IUD inserts, removals, Nexplanon and Contraception.
